A COST-ESF Seminar on Coastal Model Validation will take place at Ifremer-Brest, 18-20 November 2009. The participation will be limited to circa 25 fully invited European experts, which are willing to share their experience and to set together the ground of a methodology of reference for quality assurance of coastal environment modelling.

The following document enlightens the objectives of the seminar. Its settings will be such that fruitful debates should arise and be reported in well referenced proceedings.
